Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress best well-known for her role as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace is originally from Worthington in Ohio, dropped out of high school and moved into Los Angeles after her divorced parents. The year 2001 was a difficult one for her, but despite difficulties with money, she was able get her first significant role in the online video series Rachel's Room as the main character. Her performance as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television movie Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. She played the lead protagonist for two seasons and won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace wanted to focus on film following her role as Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005. Grace has been as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well in 2007 and in Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. In 2008, she played the same role on Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace played Shannon once more in the show's final episode and two other episodes. The year was 2013, and she appeared in the sixth season of Californication. The character she plays is Faith who's an avid stargazer as well as a groupie.
